Jeremy and Tiffany are both well known, elite-level powerlifters, among the best in the world.


Now, they're leveraging their expertise at The Park Gym to help fellow powerlifters and fitness enthusiasts of all levels build strength through progressive programming designed to meet your personal goals.

What Is Powerlifting?


Powerlifting is a strength-based sport that focuses on the squat, bench press, and deadlift (known as The Big 3); Athletes in powerlifting compete in each exercise to see who can lift the most amount of weight for 1 rep.

Powerlifting is not only for those looking to compete in the sport, but is also for anyone who is looking to get stronger, transfer increased strength and power to other sports, increase bone density and muscle mass,
and build a community.

Jeremy Avilla

Jeremy Avilla has been powerlifting for 10 years. He was the lightest person to ever total 2100lbs (squat bench and deadlift total) and was ranked as high as 3rd in the world for his weight class.


In addition to powerlifting, Jeremy has found a passion in teaching and working with the youth. He currently works for the San Ramon School District, leading the Cal High baseball team’s strength program, running the Physical Education program at Core Academy - a private school for neurodiverse children from grades 3rd to 8th grade, and developing a private afterschool program at CSA Gym to help set a path for kids to play sports beyond high school and at the highest level of competition.


  • All-time world record deadlift in 198lb weight class  (859lb)

  • Lightest powerlifter ever to total 2100lbs (2127lbs)

  • Top 5 all-time for 220lb weight class

You'll work on powerlifting as well as accessory weight lifting movements. Learn squats, deadlifts, benchpress and more

​Tiffany Leung is an elite powerlifter and certified personal trainer holding the all-time world record squat and all-time world record total in her weight class.


Tiffany grew up as a competitive soccer player and needed to find another way to stay active and competitive after her last season on her college soccer team.  She joined the powerlifting team at San Jose State University during her last semester, where she learned her way around the weight room. She quickly fell in love with the competitiveness and camaraderie of the sport.

  • 5th place at USAL nationals 2012 in 48kg weight class
