Survival of the Fittest


Survival of the fittest is a team-building event that brings everyone together in a challenging and fun way.

 

Teams are set up in pairs of 2. We will start the activity with a brief intro, we will go over the movements, do a 20-minute warm-up and then get ready for the activities. There will be 2 events that each team will compete in for a chance to call themselves the fittest team in SF. 5 teams will compete at a time in 4 different heats.

Activities like these create an environment that challenges people to think quickly, to work together while fatigued and to stay calm under pressure. The group dynamic also stimulates camaraderie.


EVENT 1: MIRROR

Teams will have a time cap of 4 minutes to complete the first round. If completed you rest for 1 minute and then you advance to round 2, which is the mirror of round 1. Round 2 has a time cap 9 minutes to complete the movements.

EVENT 2: RED LIGHT GREEN LIGHT

In this event each team member will have to perform the movement before the other team member can start (ex. partner 1 must complete 60 jump ropes before partner 2 starts) Each team will have 8 minutes to complete this workout.
