David Park
Founder,Taekwondo/Boxing Trainer
David Park began Traditional Tae Kwon Do training at the early age of 9. He was awarded his first dan Black Belt at the age of fifteen. In 1999 David Park was promoted to 6th dan Black Belt ,Master, by the Kukiwon. The Kukiwon is main governing body of Tae Kwon Do in the world.
At fifteen years of age David became fascinated by the art and science of Boxing. His passion for Boxing became equal to Tae Kwon Do and he pursued it with vigor. David has trained with world champions like Brian Vilorio (WBC Light Flyweight champion in 1999) at the Wild Card Gym and was the star pupil of Rene Luis Arredondo (WBC Light Welterweight Title in 1986).
In 1984 David Park opened his first Tae Kwon Do Studio in Van Nuys California. He has gone on to open 2 additional ones in Encino and Sherman Oaks. Master Park has taught thousands of people from celebrities, professional athletes, rock stars, to inner city youth. Finally, David has come home to San Francisco to accomplish his dream of putting together a Gym that incorporates both of his passions in life! Please come join him in a class! |
